This research emphasizes the multiple values of the underutilized and ignored land. Compared with productive land, underutilized land seems unproductive and idle, with less land use value when measuring land in terms of economically dominant productive value. However, land use value is not the only criterion; the essential nature-led landscape value these underutilized lands provide is often overlooked. This research discusses the limitless possibilities of these lands and their vital role in global biodiversity.
